IK & Obis: Endlessly

I’d love you endlessly.

My far east movement was for Obis & IK (Oraga 1 of Obodo Lagos). It was my very first time in Asaba and IK & Obis made sure we were very comfortable while out there. We did a road trip from Asaba to to Abacha in Anambra for their traditional wedding. It was also my very 1st time on the Onitsha bridge over the Niger.

It was such a colorful event that even the scorching sun was not enough to white wash the story, lol. Anyways, i got to really understand that weddings from this part of the country are not just about the couple and their families but about the community. The whole village would actually come out to see who has taken the daughter of the house, in this case the first daughter which is also called the Ada of the house.  For me i had such a great time and totally enjoyed working my art with these two. They helped me express what a colourful event was really about.

Enjoy viewing my time with Mr & Mrs. Oraga 1 of Obodo Lagos.

It was such a beautiful bridge.
One of my favs. Dont you just love the happy expressions on all the kid’s faces.
The cowboys..
Love this shot by Ridwan Adepoju.
These guys really enjoy and love their work. They were all in character through out the day!!!
Talk about entry. She was dancing to “Ada Ada” by Flavour

Obis’ mum was just so joyous.

I totally love the scene here, it was all in the moment. The bursting colors just topped it all up.
One thing i love about IK is he will always set his P wherever he finds himself..
